Another piece done in watercolor pencil and watercolors...messing around with backrounds.. fun :)

nice shapes. i hope that doesnt sound bad. i do think though that the top looks heavier than the bottom. with all the hair maybe it causes me to see it unbalanced. if that makes any sense.
goes a little further down than your normal poses.

Yes what you said makes sense :)...i was kinda trying to evoke movement...thus the hair looks big...but was trying to pull off a swinging motion...maybe not...yes the figure is shown further down...
I do like where you are going with your backgrounds !
I don'tthink you pulled off the moving hair though, It might be too neat to be moving ?? hmmm don't know
and I think she gets down therre too soon as she seems a little squat (missing stomach or something) unless that's the new plastic surgery fad in Cali ??;)

the body is so short in comparison to the hairdoo.
I think now is a great time to shift into painting from the inside out ( a break form outlined form). except while on the phone when outlined form is exquisite.

Yes you are all correct.. her body looks stunted in comparison to the hair...
loop, havent heard of a plastic surgeon yet that can shorten you ! :)
