it's Pam!!!

 coolness abounds Mary-Ann!!

very good likeness and it has a real sparkle to it

my only suggestion would be to add in a bit of shadow to the teeth area in the corners and a tiny bit of definition suggesting a few teeth (very light though.....not too much definition!)....as it sits right now it's a bit bright for me and that's distracting

I posted this and headed for the hills!!! Nice to come back to such positive comments ... especially Pam's. I'm so happy she likes it.

Erin - I think the purple hat is in Montana.

Thanks Mary.

Em - Thanks and yes, she has a bright smile and I had some blue indicating individual teeth but I lifted it out ... I'm going to try to do something like that but it hasn't quite settled with me yet.

Bethany - Thanks. I have noticed other portraits of her and it makes it hard to follow in their footsteps! Lucky we have someone on the board who tolerates being a model.

:)

Pam - Thanks. I'll send it to you. When are you doing mine? ;)
If you don't like the ref pic in the project I can send a different one ...

Chook and JoAnn - Thanks!!!

Whew!

Mary-Ann, I want to thank you! Now I can put a face to the little voice whispering in my head "darker, darker, darker" every time I wet my brush...

You have outdone yourself!

Lol. Thanks Char. I hear "values, values, values" ... we're very lucky to have Pam in this forum. I like the way she raises the bar.
