Sandy, they're beautiful. I don't know how you manage to work on such a small size! :D One very minor nit... IMHO, the upper leaf does not add anything to your composition...

Great little paintings Sandy.....and one of my favorite flowers.....what did you use for your background colour.......when I did them I used Indigo.....

Lovely mini's. The color really sings. I would frame them with a big mat.

in the bigger one you managed to sneak in more colour....makes for more pop against that dark background

Wow Mal! I love them both! I enjoy doing tiny paintings also. It's a fun challenge. The colors in these are wonderful! Great work.

for the background I use winsor blue(green shade) and winsor violet. the first time I used this combination I did learn to paint it last because a wet brush touching the edge of it does make it run.
