Hi Everyone, this is a tiny (for me) elephant painting I have been working on.

Just the very basic underpainting so far - hope you like it.

Looking beautiful! I love the whole atmosphere and how you've painted the grasses in the water!

02-21-2012, 08:19 PM
Wow, is that lovely. You've captured that evening light just perfectly, especially the way it can be so intense in one spot. The elephant is beautifully drawn and his stance perfectly natural. Really like this!

Very nice! The lighting is outstanding!

Ab-so-lute-ly STUNNING! I keep scrolling back up between comments. I love so much.. the light is just so warm, I swear I can feel it on my face. The elephant looks so natural and effortless. More!

So peaceful, beautiful colors, amazing tiny work!

The water looks like it is glowing... Great light! I always find it hard to paint landscapes in warm sunset colors, it ends up looking so 'kitch'. But you have done it beautifully!

Jason, EVERYTHING you DO is special ... I bet you could paint just as well if I hand you a kids colouring set. You are gifted man, simply gifted.

Wonderful sunset and great colours Jason. I'm off to the Kruger National Park on the 9th March. Your painting reminded me of just how much I love the bush.
