Jerry.....How to explain?....I lived this moment, I remember it, and I saw it recorded objectively on my computer screen as a digital image. Now I see this moment as poetry, a visual dance of light, color and shape. I am impressed that you have shown my world in colors I understand. Deanna just said, "Coooool!" Our son will no doubt repeat his "WOW"! And I say, "Wow, that's pretty darn cool!" Jim

I'm curious. The underlying blues are part of the initial sketch or planned into the composition.

nice work. I am attracted to the "candid" scene here and I am thinking about what the subjects are doing.

have fun,

woodguy { originally I thought I would be getting to know your face, but as it turned out this one where color (your body/arm)connects accross the field and more family members emerge was chosen. red hair and red dress was interesting too.}

bocote { funny process, a web pic was printed in black on wihte paper, that was the painting source... blue was used early as a kind of light value and shadow on shirt and sky fill. mostly it was gone before I saw the color pixels on screen again. after seeing the photo, orange was used to unify. underlying process colors peek through pleasantly. I think Jim was talking about a book on the table.}
