Thanks for hosting, Joel! Sorry about all the problems WetCanvas is having. :o

I did these yesterday, but was afraid they'd vanish, so I waited until today to post them. All three are watercolor on Indian Village handmade paper, 4" x 6". The paper is naturally irregular, so I didn't crop them to clean up the edges.

Each one was done in under an hour. :)

First I did the lighthouse. My friend collects lighthouse stuff, so this will go to her.

Then I did the beach scene with the stormy sky. This was fun.

Then the challenge. Now the dog won't have to have a bath when he gets home, to get all the sand off of him.

I spent the rest of the day working on paintings for the Gallery I have been accepted into. I think I'm running way behind schedule on that adventure.

Thanks for looking!

Three lovely pictures. I'm sure your friend will like her lighthouse but I just adore your sleepy dog.

All are lovely. Like the variety in the lighthouse painting, but the dog looks so peaceful with his bed of flowers guarding the the building behind.

Ey Beth! I found your post at the bottom of page 2! I nearly missed this one!

Three great paintings from Bethsville. I love the combination of the church and the lazt dog. It's not an uncommon site in the Philippines.

The lighthouse is fantastic in its simplicity. You captured the essential elements so well.

The beach scene is so inviting - with just the right colors at the right spots.
