Hello again! When I saw this photo it made me smile and I thought I have to paint that funny lovely dog. This is where I am now. Still lot of work to do: his nose, legs, eyes (I know his left eye is too big)... I need some advice:
1. What do you think about background? I had problems with it, I always have...
2. Isn't the bottom too empty? Maybe I should add something small there (bone, toy or something).
The picture wasn't made in daylight, so it's a bit more reddish and yellowish than real painting.
The original photo is from RIL, made by ARTMUTT, thank you!

The bottom doesn't appear empty. Adding detail there would draw the focus away from the dog. Lovely painting!

I like it! I don't think you need to clutter it with anything else, but perhaps a bit more shading just under his toes to "ground" him would be worth considering. Very accurate observation and drawing from the ref photo!
