Thanx for all the great comments:)...this piece is for the portrait exchange project...so hopefully she will like it too! it is really fun to see all the different styles from the same photos.. if any of you have time check it out.. listed under projects..

I like the development here. the use of lines and colors in unusual ways.
I htink the composition could do with a bit better connection to the right and bottom edges but it is quite noteworthy

this is lovely work Sarah.....think the brushwork gives the impression of a lot of energy, ......Crias,, fully charged, ready to take on anything (perhaps :D ) the green eyes...excellent. :)

wow ditz this is a different style for you and I think you did an AWESOME job, keep expanding (your horizons).

Thanx fagan for the nice comments..I loved her eyes too...( the real ones)..that is one of the reasons I chose this pic to paint :)
loop...thanx.. yes it was really a fun project...it made me stretch too which as you pointed out is GOOD! :)
