And again in pastels on suedeboard :D
Meet Morris a Arabian gelding who has crossed the rainbow bridge in 2010.
I saw his beautifull photo and lucky for me his owner would loves to have a painting of him.
I'm going to put him in a completly made up background. That's new for me, 'cause I normally have some kind of reference for the BG too.

But less talking and more showing :lol:

Looks super! I love the golden colors of the horse over the cool-toned suedeboard. Really makes the horse pop!

Thanks all!
My nieces visited these last two days. They're 3 and 5 and ask a lot of attention. So no time to paint at all. How do mothers do that??
But Tomorrow is still a non-working day (Yes I found a job again, only for 6 weeks but it's something) so time to paint, finally..
