I started making glass in a microwave kiln about a year ago. Starting out I just made dollops and then progressed on to making glass pieces for stained glass projects. I eventually started making molded glass jewelery. Unfortunately,
I've never been very good at selling my work. Anybody have suggestions as to how to sell art glass online or any other way. I would be happy to get any help at all.

There are lots of onlines sales shops ~ check out Artfire and Etsy for starters.

I have looked at those microwaiv kilns and wondered if they were worth the money. How do you like yours?

I make jewelry and I haven't had much luck selling online yet (Etsy). I check Craigslist under Yard Sales and you often find churches and schools having parking lot sales where you can take you items to sell. I've had good sales at some of them. Also check for Farmer's Markets in your area. I know people who go there on a regular basis but a lot of them require a business license and business insurance. You might also check your area for a local craft guild or crafting meetup group. A lot of times they will have the inside line to craft shows and such.

You might also want to consider consignment shops, local craft store and even clothing stores (even if they don't want to sell your work, maybe they'll consider buying some to accent their displays - always great advertising!).

I was thinking about getting a microwave kiln to create fused glass pieces for my mosaics.. do you have any suggestions as far as brands? Also, do you have any pictures of your artworks you could share?
