Inspired from a true story of how beautiful beads are created from recycled magazines. The paper is cut into strips and then rolled inward to form a bead-shape. These are fair-trade workers and are now able to send their children to school as a result of this concept and the ability to do this craft.

I've bought those beads, they're beautifully made. Funny how something so simple can save people.
Beautiful painting and a wonderful tribute.

Thank you Susan and Virginia! I was hoping that it would turn out alright (I never know since I don't sketch). The details in the beads were supposed to underline the story while balancing the simplicity of the monotone hands in the center.

Would love to see the beads in real life. Your picture raises awareness of their accomplishments.
