Title: Powered By Twang
Year Created: 2003
Allow digital alterations?: Yes!
I think I've fallen in to something here. This one of the best things I've done.
MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
The only thing I'm not crazy about is the car. Should I have made it more like a Caddy? Or am I being to hard on myself? Comments?

the car looks like eyes and like tits and like a car.
good twang power.

I can't decide if I like the car or not. My wife says I sit and look and over think each painting. Thanks for your comments. I thought this is one no will say a word about!

what your wife says is proof that this is a great painting as is
now you must leave it for sure
BTW if a part of it can look like more than one thing it has plasticity, the more of that the better.
plasticity is the painting's life force.

I keep trying all these different things to try and get what I want i.e. abstract, outsider, etc. I really feel like I have found something here. Makes me want to go paint over all my other stuff.

for now I would reccommend getting new surfaces to paint.
quite a bit of the other stuff
had a lot of resonance if you know what I mean.
it would be a shame if that were ruined.
it is funny
some nearly photographic likenesses are not worth the paper they are painted on but the skill used is highly develped, yet some crude seeming things are fantastic.
I have been working on a piece, 2 hours ago it was near phtographic.
now it looks like my usual stuff and I am much happier as if an order and harmony has set in.
a little less accurate. a little more resonant.

get a ton of juice out of doing these as oppose to the photographic de turned paintings I was doing. I'm going to post a crayon one I did right now.
