Do a third, fourth, fifth, and on and on and on....
I like the painting you have so far. Keep going and welcome to WC. Maybe put a fence in the field :)

Do as Shawn suggests.....keep painting, and painting and painting! Right now it seems as though you are painting stereotypical scenes, ones that you can think up and would imagine would look really good. Go out and really LOOK at something, even if it is just something around the outside of your house, and then try to paint what you see. Really see! In time it will all start to come together for you. Plus keep coming to wet canvas....there are alot of good people here to learn from. Jim

on the back sign it date it, keep it, do more.
I like the sense of natural light pervading.
I like the starkness in the tree (foreground)
and the natural lumpiness of the one behind the house.

the colors that connect to the edge especially along the left edge.

it is always about the totaity of the whole rectangular surface - so the details are not as important as the color dance throughout.

keep painting
