All are great but particularly like the lost and found edges of the sunflower leaves into the background.

Marriam...Whatchoo mean...No Success????!
The sunflower painting is an excellent example of what watercolor should be!! The other two are well done, but the sunflowers are outstanding!

Maybe you had something else in mind originally, but I would call the sunflowers very successful indeed! Put it away for a bit ; when you see it again you'll see how lovely it is with the delicate morning mist effect.
The pansies and lanterns are lovely as well.

Marriam, looks like you are judging yourself rather sternly....good job on these flowers ...it's truse I find them hard to do...but you did a great job..like the sunflowers and the colors diffusing from the centre of those pansies...

What do you mean, "no success"! You've made a wonderful job of both. I particularly like the soft edges and wet'n'wet look you've achieved. We are own worst critics aren't we.

Those sunflowers are so popular and it's really lovely to see all the differing styles used to paint them. Your painting is soft, dreamy and has the feeling of a warm summers day, I can almost hear the bees buzzing around them, it's beautiful! Thank you.
