Hello folks
Im new here, like this site very much and want to show you my most recent painting on 3D canvas. Size is 35.4 x 35.4 inches.
This one I have painted with palette knife only (layer after layer), didn't use a brush. Comments are very welcome.

All done with a palette knife - wow that's amazing. It's very good - lovely warming colours.

Your colors seem to glow with the heat of the sun and his eyes look right at the viewer. Nice!

So do I! I like the definite and yet somewhat loose approach.

Karen, Violetta, Noodle, Susme 48 and ArtMarkie thanks for your nice words!
I love palette knife work more than working with a brush, allthough it costs lots of time. One day per week I worked on this painting and so I have worked few months on it, but now it has a nice place on the wall in my livingroom. Im satisfied :)

Quite right to be satisfied with it! Impressive detail and character given it's all by pallette knife.

It's impressive even onscreen - must be even moreso on the wall - nice work Paula, and welcome to the forum.
I admire anyone who can work with a knife and aachieve these results!:D

Excellent painting! Love everything about it - the colors, the eyes, and the "sandy" look to this desert scene.

Amazing work with a palette knife. I honestly don't know how you managed so much detail and expression. Great colours and the garment folds are very well done.

Hello Chammi,
I have palette knives in different sizes. For the face I have used the smallest, so I was able to work detailed. Thanks for your reply
