Thanks Mo for hosting and the pictures
I decided to take the challenge
This is watercolor and a tiny gouache in the clouds and moon.size 12'' X 6'' on Arches hot pressed
I started last night and finished this morning while having coffee
I think between 2 and 3 Hours

Those ground colours are lovely.
Wow Robert!!! Who would have thought that just a casual snap of those horses would turn out to be so beautiful, you've given it such a romantic atmosphere it's just gorgeous!! thank you. :)

Lovely painting. Like the clouds across the moon and the moonlight on the right hand horse. Nice use of color.

great minds think alike...lol! i like how you've added the moon in the background. i honestly had no idea what the challenge was when i posted mine with a similar theme as yours... go figure...lol!

Robert, you have changed the lightning to nocturne. It's very romantic. Love the lighting on the horse torsos and the hills.
