Thanks for the great selections this week, Mo! :)

I liked the look/possibilities of the horses. Once again, I used the palette knife for this. Confession...I did use a brush for eyes, and nostrils. It was great fun.

This is oils on a 7x5 canvas panel.

C&C welcome. Thanks for looking! :)

Done at slightly under 2 hrs.

Oh Deano, this is fabulous. I love everything about it - the background colour peeking through - the muted blue shadows repeated in the horses and hills - the modelling of the horses - I could go on and on.

Wow! Really quick off the mark, Deano and a superb painting. I want to hold my hand out with the bread or carrots that they are coming for. Great sense of movement.

Oh Wow Deano, You just never fail to produce a beautiful painting, I love this. How you produce such gorgeous work with a pallete knife is beyond me, but you just do, thanks so much for painting them. :)

So much captured in that small space - love the sense of windblown freedom and joy these horses share.

The knifework is very well suited to the subject - at least, the way you handle it!

Lovely, lively beasts! Their soft colours are seductive. Their habitat seems to have shifted west from South Wales towards the American plains but a super painting!

Like your handling of the knife in this painting Deano...great texture and appropriate loosness for the running horses theme!
