I came across this great book of horses : 'Horses of Camargue' here are some sketches I made from the book.

You've been busy. Looks like you are getting a good grasp of a horses anatomy. I don't normally like looking at sketches but yours are interesting. I particularly like the portrait in blue. Well done.

Lovely sketches! Love the looseness and movement you've captured in each one of them. They're wonderfully expressive. :)

Thanks for your comments. Here are some more sketches. I did all of these(horses ,dinosaurs, birds and bulls) over a few evenings.

These horses share their living space with these black bulls.

I got a little tired of horses and switched to dinosaurs. Studies to get ready for a mural. This is Struthiomimus.

A Sauropod (Brachiosaurus I wondered why they don't have articulated ears) and a Ceratopsian (Triceratops).

Thanks for your comments. I'm not drawing much these days, but have enjoyed sketching animals. Here are some after some photos by my old friend Janice.

Came back for another look. I like your sketches so much! The extras you added are great, too. I am trying for that.. controlled looseness.. in my own sketches right now..it's hard for me for some reason. I guess because maybe I lack the confidence to just get to it already. Hard to explain. Anyway thank you for sharing these, I really like them a LOT.

I'm always going on about body language in regards to drawing people, animals seem to bring this home much, much more. I amazed how much we can decode if we try. What do think about it?
