View Full Version : WDE7 (3)FEB2012 ***Mandarin in Mondrian***

 Another crop of the market -this is from the right side and no pre-sketch- just had to do this with my brush and I believe it is one of a very few that I have done as an indefinite or esoteric background - enjoyed doing this because of the "mondrian pattern" clothing on this Asian fellow and esp. creating the person walking off into the distance, it is 9x12 on Fabriano 140lb. and took 2.5 hrs. Therefore there is no 2 hr. scan cause I kept saying just another couple of minutes which became another 15 or so.http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/07-Feb-2012/174208-Mandarin_in_Mondrian....crop.jpg http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/07-Feb-2012/174208-Mandarin_in_Mondrian_at_Market_2.5_hrs_no_presketch.jpg
