The Learning Gallery: Two Faces


Strong Points:

  • It was very wise for you to have put green as a background for the red figures. This is the opposite color on the color wheel known as the complementary color. When these are placed together side by side it gives a richer color tone.
  • You have a nice entrance into your paining coming from the bottom right. The center of interest (the face of the right figure) pops out nicely.
  • You have no repetition of lines, which is also good.

Areas to work on:

One little detail that would probably improve it just a tad. You see where the green lines almost touches the hair of the right figure? Somehow I would like to see some more breathing space. Look at my modification.
