Strong Points:
When designing a painting we should think in positive space ( in this case the figure) and negative space ( the area that surrounds the figure). Your positive space is well done. Not much to say there! |
| Areas to Work On:
But your negative space is a dull black area. It will be more interesting if you add some interesting patterns. In my opinion a portrait painting shouldn't look like a portrait photo. I went ahead and and added some patterns. See if you like it more. |
