From the artist: 9x13 Watercolor - I was thinking of my grandson having fun on the Merry-go-Round. This was my first "portrait" watercolor and I loved painting it. My studio is in my sunroom, however my busy schedule only allows me to paint at night. I have been painting in the Watercolor medium for about 5 years, at least once a week. Someday I hope to spend a little more time painting. Thank you, Joan.

Your Original	Strong Points: I liked the way you you have a soft watercolor looking background. There is movement in the figure, and he is well placed.

My Modified Version

Areas to Work On / My Modifications: The horse doesn't seem to be accurately drawn and the pole behind the boy is unnecessary. Try to stay away from straight lines(pole), as it goes out of the picture taking the viewer's eye with it. The shadow in the foliage above the horse's head follows the same contour as the head.
