"Stone Wall in Pen and Ink"

Author: Kitaye, Contributing Editor

Using the method described above, you can start filling in your wall until it is finished. In the example below, you can see that I am almost finished with my wall. It is a long process, but as you can see on my partial wall, the effects are worth the effort.

In the next article, we will add transparent watercolor washes to the stones to bring the image to life. Hope to see you then. Happy stippling.

Kitaye, known as Dee outside of the internet, is a self taught artist who explores so many mediums that she could probably open her own art supply shop. Even though Kitaye explores different mediums her all time love is pen and ink. When asked why, she says "I think I just love the fussiness of it all."
Kitaye is currently living in Edmonton, Alberta. She is an Electronic Technologist for Canada's Air Navigation Service. She enjoys her work, relaxing with her husband, watching movies while sketching and drawing, and taking long camping vacations. Kitaye feels that Wetcanvas! has done more to motivate and educate her than anything else, but admits that she has several art technique books that have guided her on her discovery of art.
