Your chat avatar only appears when you are logged into the chat rooms. You can choose to use the same avatar as you use in the forums, or choose something completely different. Just remember that the size is different here and the avatar can be no larger than 35 X 35 pixels. Please use a static, not animated, avatar in the chatroom. |

| Edit Profile Picture:
Your profile picture is different from your avatar. It is larger and appears along the upper right hand side of your profile. Some people put a larger photo of themselves so their friends will know what they look like. Others, like me, include a picture of a painting. This one is also completely optional so if you don’t want to, then don’t worry about it. If you do want to use it, all you need to do is upload the image you want to use. If your photo is at a URL address, just enter the URL in the appropriate box. Otherwise, click the “browse” button, find your photo on your computer, and upload it to your profile by clicking “save changes.” If you use the latter option, your photo cannot be any larger than 300 x 300 pixels or 97.7KB. |
