Explaining The Interface

In the Tools menu on the WetCanvas home page, there is an option called “Article Publisher”. This is another of those tools that makes WetCanvas such a neat place for artists to meet and share information. Every member has the opportunity to write and publish articles on their areas of expertise and share them with the rest of the community.

When you first enter the Article Publisher, you will see a screen like this:
This screen has some great links on it with more information on article publishing. You need to go into the My Publisher (link is circled in red) section to create folders, add content and pictures, and publish your article. The initial screen in My Publisher will look like this:
And to explain the options you are given on this screen:

Browse: By selecting one of the folders in your account and clicking on the browse button, it will take you to a screen that will allow you to choose how you want to manipulate that particular folder.

Create: Allows you to create a new folder to store the files for your article. You will need to create folders before you can Browse them.

Edit: Allows you to edit the folder name and description

Delete: Deletes the selected folder
Creating a Folder

Before you can create an article, you need to create a folder to store that article in. When you are in the initial screen of the My Publisher tool, you need to select the “Create” button. This will take you to the following screen:
You need to type in a name for your folder as well as a short description of that folder. Then click on the “Create This Folder” button. The screen you see next will tell you that the folder has been created successfully. Click on the option to take you back to My Publisher.

You will now be able to see and select your new folder from the drop down list.
