| The next series is showing the development of the finish. I occasionally use a thumb or towel, but most of the 'blending' is accomplished by glazing and layering using the pastel stick alone. |

| I took this as the final image, but as you'll see one of the joys of pastel is that as it sits on the easel, it sometimes begs to have just a 'little' more done to it. Sometimes that's good...sometimes it's not. I'm going to show you any alterations I do to it until it is either out of the studio or thrown away!!! |  |
