Bend the carton where you want the back and also for the closing part. Insert the folded paper in the cover. Insert your string in the middle of the first folded part
Wind the the paper against the carton. Make two turns around the first part. Make sure you have an extra 10 cm on the back for making a knot when finished
Insert the string in the middle of the next folded papers and so forth. Wind the next part and the next. End with two turns around the last part. Tie a knot and cut the stringends
If you like to hide the string cover the cover with some coloured paper. Cut it somewhat larger than the cover. Paste the paper to the cardboard cover
