You can make a sketchbook within just a hour.

What you'll need:

  1. One sheet of watercolour paper, 56*76 cm
  2. Some thin string
  3. A piece of cardboard (carton, corrugated cardboard)
  4. Perhaps some drawing paper
  5. I also used paste-stick
  6. Holepuncher and 
  7. Some coloured paper
Fold the water colour paper and cut in two. Then fold again and cut, as shown in the pictures. You will now have eight pieces that are about 38*14 cm
Fold the paper in the middle. Press down the folds with a ruler or something. You have eight folded papers, about 19*14 cm.
