![]() | You can get this effect by using what is called Surfactant. It is a clear liquid you can purchase and dropping it onto the stone pattern causes the paint to move outward to the edges and creates space. I then go back and put some fine droplets on top of these spaces. |

| I have been creating art in one form or another since my early childhood. For me it's all about color and texture. I love all forms of art and have done fiber art, basketry, art journaling, and I love to make my own hand made journals. About two years ago I took up pastels. I don't like to follow rules, I like to see what wants to happen, what gets created when I move out of the way. That is why I love mixed media so much. My other passions in life include conga drumming, belly dancing, singing and playing the guitar. | |
