![]() | Step 7: Lay the paper gently into the bath. To do this, hold it by the diagonal corners, make sure the paper is face down with the "X" facing you. Gently lower the paper so the middle touches the bath first, and then let the rest of the paper drop into the bath. If you move the paper once it is in the bath, you will ruin the image. There is a method called the Spanish Wave in which the paper is deliberately moved in a diagonal wave pattern, but that is an advanced step and not shown here. |
![]() | Step 8: Lift the paper out of the bath by the corners and pull toward you. This can be done from either end really. Make sure your rinsing board is just below the bath tray at this point, ready to catch the paper after it is pulled. | ![]() |
