B i o g r a p h y

JaneS lives in Texas with her husband and her 2 sons. She considers herself a lifelong student of art and music. Jane's natural artistic talent was very evident as a child but she pursued music in high school and it was not until she attended the University of Iowa that she was able to renew her love of art with formal art classes.

Over the years she has taken independent classes in oils and watercolors and she continues to learn and grow as an artist, inspiring everyone she meets with her positive can-do attitude.
In September of 2000 she discovered Wetcanvas and found that being involved with an on-line art community can be a real motivator. She states, "Since discovering Wetcanvas, I've been encouraged to try acrylic, graphite and colored pencil. This is a wonderful place! I have never been so prolific as I have been the past 9 months having found this community of like-minded individuals who share my passion for art. The sharing, critiquing, and viewing of artwork from everyone here has been indescribably inspiring to me. It was fantastic to meet all the WetCanvas! members who came to the Amelia Island Getaway. I encourage everyone to not pass up an opportunity to attend one!”
