| The weather was beautiful and it was a perfect, art-filled fun weekend from beginning to end. This is the only way to describe the third WetCanvas! Getaway, this time held at Amelia Island, Florida hosted by resident islander and WetCanvas! member, Deb Carroll on May 11 thru 13, 2001. Hope you enjoy reading some of the events we all captured on film and hope you enjoy reading a little from my getaway diary. Don't be surprised if you see some of the others jump in and add some comments. I tried to keep them all straight, but it was impossible! |
 | Friday, May 11 I flew in from Houston, Texas and had a grin on my face from the first moment. Cheryl (Paintfool) stood at the airplane gate, holding the sign that Darrell Duchene recommended I carry at the airport, so I’d be recognized, “Blonde, please help!” (Thanks a lot, Darrell…lol) |

| Berrell,who’d arrived earlier from New York, and Deb were there with Cheryl and got some good pictures of my big smile, and Cheryl’s sheepish one, as she had to hold that sign a LONG time…… I was at the very BACK of the plane. |
