Author: Loretta, Contributing Editor

ATTACHING 3 SIDES

Cut two side boards alike in length and width.

A top and bottom board were also cut.

Clamp a side and top board together. Pre-drill and screw the two together.

Then join the other side board onto the top.

BRUSH & TOOL BOX

Cut two side pieces which will be shorter then the top and bottom by the width of two boards side by side.

Cut two smaller boards {end caps} that will fit on the ends of the two side boards.

Cut the top and bottom boards which will completely cover the box.

Put together all sides except the top. { We Will do this last}. You will have a box without the top for now.
JOINING BOX TO PALETTE TABLE

Unscrew one of the sides of the box.

Clamp the box to the back side of your Palette Table and attach with screws.

Now you may re-attach the side that was taken off.
ATTACHING THE BRACE

Turn box upside down and insert a 2x4 in the middle between the two sides secure with nails.

This will keep the sides stable and act as a stop for the drawers on either side.

SIDE RAILS AND STYLE FOR TWO DRAWER SIDE

Cut and attach Face Style and Rails.

The drawer will slide on top of the side rails.
