![]() | After we found a location that we felt would be conducive to a good sunrise shot, we called it a night.
We awoke the next morning, refreshed, and ready for more plein air! Here is the view we had in the morning, from the cabin porch. This is pre-sunrise, early morning light peeking up behind the lake. |

This was a small 8x10 linen panel. Working with this near-abstract style is ideal for small surfaces. The smaller your painting surface, the more important each brushstroke becomes! | ![]() |
