To attach the head feathers, I took a metal skewer and made some holes in his head for the feathers.

Poor thing didn't even flinch. He is such a brave 'Firdemu.'

She loves working in all mediums and is currently focused on several Wildlife Portraits and a series of Whimsical Clay Whistles. Her Papier Maches' are delightful in their unique personalities and seem to have lives of their own. Leaflin resides and operates her studio in the foothills of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.
