The masking fluid is removed with a putty rubber.
Before removing, ensure that the paper is thoroughly dry or it may tear. It can also be removed by rubbing with your finger. |

Here, I have applied some masking fluid to preserve the rope and a small light reflection on the side of the hull. |

Using our grey mix, the shadow areas are built up. |

To the left, you can see the left side of hull (in shadow) and the lip, as well as the front of cabin and rear underside of hull. |
