Watercolor Painting, My Way!: Clouds: L10

Author: Rod Webb, Associate Editor

A Light in the Sky

Time to set up your palette! The colors used are:
  • Mix of French Ultramarine/ Burnt Umber
  • Indian Yellow
Wet the paper with clear water and apply Indian Yellow to the area you want the light.
Before the paper dries:

Brush in the mixture of Ultramarine and Burnt Umber.

Apply from the outer edges just stopping at the start of the previous yellow wash.

Finally, fade the bottom edge by brushing with clear water. Allow to dry.
