On the right side of the tall rectangle draw a "J" shape that flattens off at the top and then continue the line down between the two rectangles.

Now make geometric rectangles that cut into the little rectangle like the broken rocks on the top of a hill.

Make the edges of the large rectangle kind of rough too.
