Step 13/15: Spray the sculpture with water, wrap in the plastic bag it's sitting on and leave it alone for a day. |

Step 14/15: Set a sandbag on your sculpture stand like this and cover with a plastic bag. This will make a good platform that will mold to the shape of the bottom of your sculpture and will give as the sculpture dries and shrinks when you are finished. |

Step 15/15: This is the sculpture on the sandbag ready to be finished. Spray water as needed, but not too much, and cover with a plastic bag when your not working on it. I dry my sculptures slowly for 2 weeks leaving the plastic bag off for progressively longer periods of time, then I leave it uncovered at least another week before I fire it. |

I live in western Oklahoma and
am a member of the Oklahoma Sculpture Society with whom I exhibit
and participate in workshops. I've been sculpting since 1993
and my sculpture interests are portraits and figures. My sculptures
are in corporate and private collections and I have exhibited
in local and national juried competitions. I use water base clay,
fire it and patina with wax, stain or paint. I'm available to
