Pastel Still Life Demo: L3/6

Several effects can be obtained, overlaying colors, blending, crosshatch, dots applied by tapping corner of pastel hard on paper. This can be quite a noisy medium!

For this demonstration, I used my computer to print the image direct onto Canson paper.  This way, you save time (i.e. the time you would have spent sketching). To the left, you see my Canson paper attached to board with bulldog clips. I started the bananas first. As pastels are so immediate, there is no drying time. Nice, eh?! I became so engrossed with the progress, that I sometimes forgot to stop for photos - sorry!
