Dip your brush in the ink and wipe the tip so there isn't a drip waiting to make a puddle on your paper. |

Start off the edge of the paper (you can clean
the little mess later) and drag the brush a few inches. |

Move the brush slightly to the left and right before you lift it off the paper. |
|
That will make the little nobby ends of each section of the stalk. |
