The sides of the shoes curve in and the bottom corners are rounded.

Make two more short smile shapes.

The tops of the shoes go up to the top of the rectangles and get wider as they reach the rounded top.

Erase the middle smiles.

Connect the rectangles to the top shapes with angular lines like this.
